Hope you had a nice Mother's Day weekend...mine started somewhat early. Friday night my nice neighbor's somewhat tricked me by saying they were going to take me out for a girls night out and instead they came over to watch the kids so hubby and I could go out to dinner...It was so nice for a change to go out to dinner and not have to worry about the kids. We even got to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather we've been having which was especially nice. Picture is of the flowers hubby bought me Friday night.Mother's day was nice...went to church as usual and then went out to lunch with neighbor's and their mom and dad. We ended up going to Z-town initially to go to Golden Corral, but the line was all the way out to the parking lot. We ended up at Red Lobster where we waited almost an hour to be seated and then proceeded to wait another hour for our meal...not exactly the most pleasant experience, but the food was good.
Reflecting on Mother's Day....being a mom is defintely not for the faint at heart...it is a job...and despite it all I wouldn't trade it. I still wonder how my mom raised 5 of us....God bless her is all I can say!
Well got a busy week...trying to hopefully plan a surprise 40th b-day party for hubby this weekend. Wish me luck!

A 40th B day party!! sounds like a blast!! I would like to plan a big bash for my hubby's 50th but I have a year to plan yet..:)
sounds like your MD was very nice..at least the friday night part..:) those Sunday dinner lines made me glad to be eating at home..hubby cooked on the grill for me and my daughter. I got cards and calls form my kids and flowers for my yard..still haven't gotten them all in the ground but they are lovely...
