Well I'm currently getting over a cold...when it rains it pours I guess. Didn't get to do my solo at church like I was supposed to...luckily Michelle and Leslie stood in for me. They're such great friends...luv em.
Still tired....but part of that is my fault...honestly...Hubby got me hooked on a new game...actually it's one of Brennan's games he got for Christmas...it's called Bookworm Deluxe...it kind of reminds me of a mix of Scrabble, Tetris and word search. You have to find the words on the Scrabble looking board...the bigger the word you find the more points of course. Then there are tiles that catch fire and you have to get rid of those before they hit the bottom of the board. Totally addicting to me...I spent I think about 3 hours playing this game yesterday...lost all track of time...IKE!!! It's all hubby's fault for getting me on to it :-) Honestly though, it's a cool game and educational. Both things that I like for the boys. Check it out...we got ours at http://www.amazon.com.
So onto my next day of Disney adventures. Tuesday, December 27th was spent again at Magic Kingdom....this was a blast...we spent this day on the left hand side of the park which was Frontierland, Adventureland and Liberty Square. First thing we did was get Fast Passes for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (by far the most awesome ride in the whole park in my opinion...I think we rode it about 4-5 times during the whole trip...IT ROCKS!!! I can't say enough about this ride...it was my fav 20+ years ago and still is my fav. The boys...even fraidy cat Austin loved it! We had trouble getting Colton off of it...he LOVED it!) We of course did the Pirates of the Carribean. Wanted to do the Jungle Cruise...but the line was too long and they were no longer doing Fast Pass when we got to it. I highly recommend doing Fast Pass for the popular rides...beats standing in the long lines...and during this day...the lines were long! We went in the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House...We then ate lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern and caught the parade while we were there...here is a pic of my and the boys waiting to get seated at our table... Lunch was good...I had crab cakes as an appetizer and the pot roast...it was good but it was a little salty...I don't like a lot of salt, but over all I can't complain...there was plenty to eat. For dessert I had buttered pound cake covered with caramel and pecans...yum!
For dinner we went and ate at Cinderella's Royal Table...which is actually in Cinderella's castle on the second floor. SOOOO COOL! And once we got inside there was Cinderella...no lines (we waited the day before for an hour to get autographs of Pluto, Minnie and Goofy...wouldn't do that again...though the kids liked meeting them)...Meeting Cinderella was a highlight of the trip. Colton was really into Cinderella before we went because the twins were on a big Cinderella kick and would watch it just about everyday while I was watching them. Cinderella goes up to Colton and says, "You're the handsome Prince I've been dreaming about aren't you?" Colton got the hugest grin on his face...that's when I got the most precious picture of the whole trip... is this not the most adorable picture!!! Look at that little guys face...when we asked him during the trip who gave him a kiss...he'd blush and say "Cinderelly". Then he proceeded to give the beautiful princess a kiss back. What a ham!!!!!!
The evening ended with watching the fireworks and looking at the beautiful castle at night. The lights on it would change to blue, to purple, to a teal color, green, and there was even snowflakes projected on it...so incredibly amazing...the pics don't do it justice. It was another wonderful day...by the way...I took a pedometer with me and was averaging about 5 miles per day on this trip...lots of walking, but still a ton of fun! Still can't wait to go back...are we there yet?!?!?
Hope all is well with all of you...

Oh, it looks like so much fun!!!! We were so amazed with DW, and how wonderful it was. All choked up watching our kids...
That picture of your boy and Cinderlla? ADORABLE. Worth the whole trip!!!
Sorry I haven't been around lately...but your Disney trip sounds absolutely wonderful! I'm lovin all the great pics...did you keep a journal? how else do you remember all the details. :) The Cinderella pics are fantastic! WE have a friend who plays Cinderella sometimes. She is a college student so its probably part time but the girl in the pic isn't her. I'm sure there are several actors for the part. Your little guy does look like he's loving it and he'll never forget. Hope your parents had as much fun as the rest of you..I'm sure they loved every minute! What fun!
Glad you're feeling better
ps...my daughter got engaged at during the fireworks at Cinderella's castle..:)they are big Disney fans :)
